All Aboard!
Amtrak's Winter Park Express will again be hitting the rails for the upcoming season. The train operates Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and select weekdays from December through March. Train departs Denver at 7 a.m. Departs Winter Park Resort at 4:30 p.m. Travel time is approximately 2 hours.
As a volunteer host, you will help direct passengers to boarding locations, provide information on the route, Winter Park amenities and answer passenger’s questions.

Interested individuals should submit an email to recruiting@winterparkexpress.org indicating interest, availability (weekday availability is helpful), contact information and a brief bio about themselves. We will be working the candidate list over the next several weeks.

Selected hosts must
- Be enthusiastic, energetic, effectively interact and communicate with passengers.
- Have or develop personal knowledge of the rail route, Winter Park Resort and the Fraser Valley.
- Physically be able to assist with unloading skis and assist in an emergency.
- Commit to at least 6 same-day, round trips during the season (assignments based on seniority), and be an alternate (backup/on-call) list other trips.
- Arrive Denver Union Station by 5:45 a.m.
- Participate in an interview
- Purchase an official ColoRail host jacket. (approx $75).
- Pay participation dues $25 - includes membership in ColoRail
- Attend a training session in early December.
